How it works

From idea to winner in four steps

No scripts. No spreadsheets. Just a clean workflow that turns your thumbnail intuition into measurable wins.

Step 1

Pick a published video

Search by title or choose from recent uploads. EnhanceTube only lists videos owned by the connected channel.

Step 2

Add 2–4 variants

Swap the thumbnail, the title, or both. Keep your current live version as the control to compare against.

Step 3

Set rotation & schedule

Choose how often variants rotate, how long the test runs, and optionally restrict to specific Pacific Time hours.

Step 4

Launch and watch live

EnhanceTube auto-rotates variants, tracks performance, and surfaces the winner once confidence is reached.

Built for serious creators

Everything you need to test like a pro

The same rigor used by data teams—wrapped in a workflow built for YouTube creators.

Confidence-backed winners

Bayesian estimation tells you when a variant truly wins—no more eyeballing a noisy CTR chart.

Per-variant analytics

Impressions, click-through rate, and watch time tracked separately for every variant you ship.

Fully automatic rotation

Set your interval once. EnhanceTube swaps variants on schedule and logs every change for review.

Pause, stop, or extend anytime

See an early signal? Stop the test and ship the winner. Need more data? Extend the duration with one click.

Full rotation history

Every swap, every metric snapshot, every winner—archived per test so you can learn across experiments.

Safe for your channel

We only rotate the variants you provide. Your video, description, and tags stay exactly as you set them.

Watch performance unfold in real time

Every rotation logs fresh metrics. The dashboard plots impressions, CTR, and watch time per variant, so you can spot trends early—and intervene if you see a clear winner emerging ahead of schedule.

  • Live CTR chart updated as YouTube reports new metrics
  • Per-variant impressions and watch time at a glance
  • Confidence indicator that updates after every rotation

Schedule on your terms

Rotate variants on the schedule that fits your audience

Pick a rotation interval that matches your video's traffic pattern. Optionally restrict tests to peak Pacific Time hours so each variant gets a fair shot at the same kind of viewer.

  • Rotation intervals from hours to days
  • Active-hour windows (Pacific Time) for fair comparisons
  • Auto-stop at the duration you choose

Decide with confidence

A real winner—not a hunch

EnhanceTube uses Bayesian estimation to calculate the probability that a variant is actually better. When confidence is high, we surface the winner. When it isn't, we tell you honestly.

  • Bayesian probability per variant—not just raw averages
  • Configurable confidence threshold to match your risk tolerance
  • One-click apply winning thumbnail or title to YouTube

FAQs

Questions, answered

Everything you might want to know before running your first test.

Will an A/B test hurt my video's performance?

No. We only rotate between the variants you provide—the underlying video, description, and tags are never touched. If anything, finding a stronger thumbnail tends to lift performance.

How many variants can I test at once?

You can run between 2 and 4 variants per test. Each variant can change the thumbnail, the title, or both. We recommend keeping one variant as your current live control.

When does EnhanceTube call a winner?

We use Bayesian estimation to track probability that a given variant is the best performer. Once confidence crosses your configured threshold, we surface the winner. If the test ends below threshold, the leading variant is suggested as low-confidence.

Can I run tests on YouTube Shorts?

A/B testing is currently supported for long-form videos. Shorts support is on the roadmap.

What happens to the previous variants?

Everything is archived. You can open any past test and see every rotation, every metric snapshot, and the exact thumbnail/title pair that was live at each point in time.

Do I need a paid plan?

You can get started for free. Concurrent A/B tests are capped per workspace and the limit depends on your plan—see the pricing page for current allowances.
